Items are welcome for inclusion on the website. Use the email address above
or advise the webmaster prior to sending especially if the item/s are large.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Photos are very welcome as most of my own are already posted. However there
are some guidelines.
Submissions must be relevant to Jordanstown Schools. The Webmaster has the only
say in which photos are displayed. Not all submissions will be acceptible. Nothing
violent, pornographic or morally unacceptable should be sent. I reserve the
right to forward anything to the Authorities I think verging on illegal.
Photos received will, if selected, be posted where appropriate.
I accept no responsibility for contacting the subjects (in many cases this would
be an impossible task). However should a viewer come across a picture that they
do not wish displayed contact the Webmaster and explain politely. In some cases
removal is easy by cropping the picture, in group shots it may be necessary
to "black out" faces. The caption accompanying, in the interests of historic
accuracy, will include the name/s of the omitted person/s.
Copies of pictures will not be sent to third parties without express permission
of the copyright owner (Copyright belonging to the owner of the picture not
the subject).
MAGAZINES and PRINTED MATERIAL
Please email details as a first step. No confidential items eg school reports
should be sent and will not be posted or retained. sCHOOL MAGAZINE are very
welcome especiall on TAPE/CD/PRINT. Tapes will be converted to MP3 format for
downloading.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT OR SKILLS TO REPRODUCE
THESE ITEMS DIGITALLY I CAN HELP OUT. HOWEVER THIS MAY TAKE A WHILE BEFORE ITEMS
ARE RETURNED.
